The beauty of 3D graphics is the ability to build anything from one's imagination and see it come to life.
Rendering effects such as cartoon shading can be added to create a unique look and feel to a scene.
Lighting can be altered to change the time of day or mood of the scene with just some minor adjustments.
Changing weather or the time of day in traditional illustration would mean starting over but is relatively simple using 3D.
Textures can also be swapped out changing a clean scene into a grungy one. With 3D, clients changing their minds is never a problem.

About Me

My name is Scott Fustin and I'm a graphic artist. I began my career working at a small advertising design agency in Rockford, IL. Working at a small agency was a wonderful experience because I was able to be involved in all aspects of design from heavy photo manipulation, technical illustration, and page layout to 3D modeling and rendering for both print imagery and for animated presentations and television commercials.

The later half of my career has been spent in education teaching graphic design classes as a professor at Rock Valley College. Teaching turned out to be a great experience as I got to meet many great people during my years in education but I still love to get my hands dirty and do the real design work so feel free to contact me for freelance projects as I am always in the mood for sharpening my skills.
